The Academy of Health is planning a typing campaign together with the DKMS. As part of our training of international specialists, we have become more aware that people of different ethnic origins can also have different tissue characteristics. It is therefore important to us to draw attention to the fact that the chance of finding a potential stem cell donor is often higher if the origins of the donor and the patient match. This means that a sick person has a higher probability of finding a suitable lifesaver from their population group. We therefore invite you all to get your blood typed on June 22nd at the Academy of Health on the Berlin-Buch campus in order to increase the "hit rate" of suitable donors. This campaign will be supplemented by a lecture by the DKMS and information stands by our training participants on the subject of stem cell donation. The campaign day starts at 9:00 a.m., the lecture at 10:45 a.m. in our building H.

If you, your friends or other people in your circle would like to register, we would be delighted. To ensure that there are enough typing sets available, we would be delighted if you would send us a response at: qifk@gesundheit-akademie.de .

We are very grateful for your support!
