Simulation Training – Acute Care of Emergency Patients

In the context of acute care for emergency patients, human factors are an essential topic for improving patient safety. Medical simulation training, which originally developed from aerospace, offers a protected space to train and improve action processes and communication aspects. Real operational scenarios are created and experienced through the use of highly professional simulation dolls, simulation equipment and actor patients. In the subsequent debriefing, the self-reflection of the training participants is stimulated and encouraged through the use of audiovisual media. An important core content of this training is Crew Resource Management (CRM). The content of CRM is fully practiced in our simulation training.
