On April 10, 2018, the Institute for Simulation (IFS) of the Academy of Health was opened at the Eberswalde campus in front of an expert audience by the managing director, Mr. Jens Reinwardt, and the managing director of GLG, Dr. Steffi Miroslau. With patient safety in mind, the teams from the clinical and preclinical areas are trained at the IFS with the help of complex simulation training, which is carried out by specially trained lecturers from the academy. The knowledge and know-how of the IFS is not only used in the field of continuing education for professionals, but is also used in the training of health and nursing and other training professions in order to train and consolidate the professional skills of the trainees.
