Recognition of International Nursing Professionals
According to estimates, there will be a shortage of around 30,000 nursing professionals in Berlin and Brandenburg alone by 2030. Against this background, the international recruitment of nursing professionals is an important measure for healthcare facilities to counteract the shortage of skilled workers. The Academy of Health is authorized to conduct knowledge tests and adaptation courses in the states of Berlin and Brandenburg. The Academy has been making an active contribution to the qualification of nursing professionals from third countries since 2008. The holistic approach of competency-oriented educational offerings as well as individual advice and support are central components of the Academy's educational services in the integration process.
