Adaptation course

Anpassungslehrgang für internationale Pflegefachpersonen

In the adaptation course you will learn intensively about the special features of nursing in Germany. The course gives you the opportunity to reflect on your experiences and actively contribute. He concludes with a final interview in which you transfer the learned content to real practical situations.

In addition to your professional skills, you will consolidate your action skills in modern simulation and skill rooms. A central part of the course is the accompanying language training, which will help you become even more confident in the German language.

Target group / requirement

Nursing professionals from non-EU countries and non-European countries who have completed vocational training in their home country and who would like to take the knowledge test to recognize the equivalence of their training as a health and nursing professional for the federal states of Berlin and Brandenburg.

Mit Deiner Anmeldung zum Vorbereitungskurs reichst Du bitte folgende Unterlagen ein:

Proof of German language skills; at least level B2
Notice from the responsible state office to carry out the knowledge test
Residence permit / work permit

Promote health and act preventively
Act safely in acute situations
Understanding of Nursing and the Profession in Germany
Reflect on your own care experiences – communicate in an understanding-oriented manner
Rehabilitative nursing care in an interprofessional team
Supporting people in self-care and mobility
Designing care processes in different areas of care
Accompanying people in critical life situations and in the final phase of life
Development and health in childhood and adolescence in nursing situations
