It is 9 o'clock in the morning at East61 in Berlin.
The hall of the beach volleyball facility is filled with motivated teams of training participants and AdG employees. Everyone is eagerly awaiting the opening of the tournament.

Now the moment has come to apply and show the successes of the training, because that has been done for weeks. Every break and even private meetings were used to prepare for the tournament. Not only teams of educational participants gathered this morning. Teams from administration, teachers and management are also taking part. Particular creativity was evident in the selection of the team names, which also made it easy to assign them to a school, such as:

SC Function 20
Dissmann's disease
AspirATA
among others

After a brief explanation of the procedure by the game leader, the game begins. The 10 beach volleyball courts in the hall and the 10 outside are stormed and the first teams compete against each other. Cheers and shouts of encouragement dominate the area for the next 2 hours. The game is played in 5 rounds and a knockout round for the final placing. Between the rounds, there is a constant look at the interim rankings.

... and then it comes, the final. The teams "Take it, I've got it!" and "AspirATA" face each other in the last game for first place. The atmosphere in the hall is roaring. After a head-to-head match, the winner of a total of 46 teams is decided.

What a day, even the weather was kind to us. A thunderstorm came along just as the event was ending. After the award ceremony, the hall emptied again and peace returned... ...until next year, when it's time for the AdG 2023 volleyball tournament!
