Additional vocational pedagogical qualification for practical instructors in functional service

The job profiles of anesthesia technical assistant and surgical technical assistant are established. The increasing number of trainees shows the existing and ever-increasing need for employees in both professional fields. Demographic change and modern surgical options and anesthesiological procedures are leading to an increasing number of hospital stays and an increase in the number of operations performed each year, both inpatient and outpatient. In addition, the increasing mechanization of medicine and the development of new, complex surgical methods require highly qualified and specialized specialists.

The training of these specialists must be supervised and supported by staff trained in vocational education. The educational offer for qualification in vocational education for practical instructors in the operating department is geared towards the specialized hospital area of the operating department in terms of content, methodology and didactics as well as the evaluation of learning outcomes.

Continuing education for practical instructors

You are an operating room assistant or an anesthesiology assistant with at least one year of professional experience or a nurse in the anesthesiology/surgery department with specialist training in intensive care and anesthesiology nursing/surgery service.
