DEKRA ® wound expert

Chronic wounds such as decubitus ulcers, leg ulcers or diabetic foot syndrome now affect over 800,000 people in Germany. Given demographic developments and the growing proportion of older people, an increasing need for wound care for people with chronic wounds is to be expected.

To meet these challenges, participants acquire comprehensive knowledge of the basics of wound care as well as knowledge of the causes, forms and specific treatment methods of chronic wounds.
