Specialist training course for paramedics

As a paramedic, you support the emergency medical technicians and emergency doctors in their work in the ambulance. You work in qualified patient transport and accompany patients on the journey to a hospital or when they are transferred to another facility. When working in a rescue control center, you are responsible for receiving emergency calls and coordinating the resulting operations.

Continuing education for practical instructors

You are of legal age and have already completed vocational training or a secondary school certificate.

Registration documents

  • Proof of health suitability

Training at the Academy of Health (240 seminar units):

  • Human Anatomy and Physiology
  • Disturbance of vital functions
  • Emergency medicine
  • Rescue service organization and laws
  • Hygiene
  • Dangers at the scene

Practical activity:

  • Clinical internship: 80 hours
  • Rescue station internship: 160 hours
