In the training course "Management of a ward / area" of the Academy of Health, the focus is on the targeted development of leadership skills. A central component is our simulation area, which is firmly anchored in the curriculum and offers managers a realistic and protected learning environment. Here, the participants train typical leadership situations – from crisis communication to conflict management – in a practical and solution-oriented way. The focus is on confident conversations, the development of a reflective, professional attitude and confident action in challenging situations. With the proven concept of Crew Resource Management (CRM), we specifically promote interprofessional communication, team coordination and decision-making skills under pressure. The training is supplemented by impulses to strengthen resilience, which support managers in acting in a psychologically stable and clear manner, even in complex everyday situations.
