Child emergencies

In this training, anatomical and physiological characteristics of infancy and early childhood are explored in more depth.
Other focal points include medical equipment for treating pediatric emergencies, venipuncture, mask ventilation and intubation as well as pain relief.

Emergencies are presented in case studies. A resuscitation internship provides the opportunity to consolidate practical resuscitation skills on infants, toddlers and children.
