Professional development training – Nursing in Psychiatry, Psychosomatics and Psychotherapy (DKG)

Practical training – safe action

As part of its advanced training in psychiatry, psychosomatics, and psychotherapy, the Academy of Health offers a specialized simulation institute that is firmly integrated into the curriculum. Here, professionals have the opportunity to role-play realistic crisis situations in a safe environment and practice de-escalation interventions. The focus is on strengthening confidence in action, developing a professional demeanor, and practicing reflective, respectful communication. We place particular emphasis on preventative conflict management and clear, structured communication – especially in emotionally challenging situations. Through our established Crew Resource Management (CRM) format, participants practice interprofessional communication strategies and learn to remain effective even under pressure. The training is complemented by targeted resilience building to ensure long-term psychological stability and composure in their professional lives.

Next course start:

18.05.2026 – Campus Eberswalde
