Prehospital Poly Trauma Management (PPTM)

The Prehospital Poly Trauma Management (PPTM) advanced training course is a regional training program for optimizing pre-clinical trauma management. The course concept is based on the guidelines of the German Society for Trauma Surgery. The course focuses on training in action sequences according to the internationally valid ABCDE concept, personnel and time management, and CRM principles. The goal is to ensure a uniform quality standard in the care of trauma patients.

Continuing education for practical instructors

The training is aimed at emergency physicians, emergency paramedics, rescue assistants, paramedics and first responders.

Registration documents

  • Proof of completed training in the emergency services or healthcare sector
  • Module 1 – Self-study (8 hours)
  • Module 2 – Theoretical lessons, as well as “Skill Stations”
  • Module 3 – Training of 4 polytrauma scenarios

This training course concludes with a final written test.

  • Certificate from the Academy of Health Berlin/Brandenburg eV with a validity of 4 years
  • 20 points from the LÄK Brandenburg have been requested
