In order to show our future emergency paramedics what other possible uses they can expect in their later careers in the rescue service, apart from the ambulance, we visited the ADAC Air Rescue in Berlin and the Berlin Regional Association of Workers' Samaritans with the upcoming third-year apprentices from Eberswalde to explore career fields. Corona made this impossible for a long time, but the low incidence rates in the summer and 3G finally made it possible to inspect the Christoph 31 - Berlin rescue helicopter and the ASB intensive care transport vehicle.
Whenever time, distance or type of illness or injury make it necessary to use these special rescue resources, these experts are deployed by air or land to give the patient the best chance. We would like to expressly thank everyone involved for the patience with which our many questions were answered and for the organization on the part of the air rescue station!
